Ashley brings over a decade of hands-on healthcare experience to her role as Provisional Administrator, blending clinical insight with compassionate leadership. Her journey into the healthcare industry began in 2012, after she earned her LPN from NIACC. For eight years, she honed her nursing skills at a family practice clinic, building a solid foundation rooted in patient-centered care.

In 2020, Ashley transitioned into senior living, stepping into the position of Manager at Mills Harbour Independent and Assisted Living. For four years, she guided the community with a steady hand and a strong heart, eventually taking on her current role as Provisional Administrator. Her leadership style is defined by a deep commitment to operational excellence and creating a supportive, home-like environment where residents feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for.

Ashley’s vision is grounded in purpose—she believes every resident deserves to live with dignity, compassion, and meaning. Her ability to foster a family-like atmosphere while ensuring the facility runs smoothly has earned her recognition, including a scholarship award from the Iowa Health Care Association.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration at Upper Iowa University, Ashley continues to grow as both a leader and advocate for the residents and staff she serves. Her passion, professionalism, and empathy make her an integral part of her community’s success and spirit.

Assisted Living Manager and RN

Emma is a dedicated healthcare professional who brings clinical expertise and a heartfelt commitment to her role as Assisted Living RN and Manager at Mills Harbour Indepdendent & Assisted Living. After earning her RN from NIACC in 2023, Emma began her career on the front lines, working in the Emergency Room at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin, where she quickly developed strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Her passion, however, led her to long-term care, where she could make a lasting impact on quality of life and build deeper connections with those she serves. At Mills Harbour, Emma is both a care provider and a trusted listener. Her leadership has helped maintain 100% occupancy, a testament to the welcoming environment and high standard of care she helps foster.

Driven by a desire to uplift and advocate for her tenants, Emma leads with compassion, consistency, and a genuine interest in each person’s well-being. She continues to grow in her leadership role, ensuring Mills Harbour is a place where residents not only live, but also thrive.
